The Glenburn is a small, highly-acclaimed, family-run, no-smoking hotel with free leisure club facilities. The restaurant at the Glenburn is continuing to gain an enviable reputation for outstanding home-cooked gourmet food. The hearty full English breakfast and buffet will prepare you for a day out on the Lake District fells. The relaxed but elegant candlelit 4-course dinner is definitely a treat not to be missed. It is complemented by a wide choice of wines from around the world. You are only a few minutes walk from the fells and the village where there is a wide choice of bars, shops and restaurants. Guests receive a complimentary pass to the local leisure centre where they can take full advantage of the facilities on offer.
