Set in an original stone building, with a traditional courtyard and tavern, the hotel is situated just outside the small, picturesque village of Nikoklia. The rustic surroundings offer the ideal destination for a relaxing break, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. During the day you can explore the surrounding countryside or relax on the grapevine covered terrace, or in the internal yard during the summer; and next to the fireplace during the winter. For nature lovers, and especially for bird watchers, Vasilias Nikoklis is an ideal place to visit, due to its location, upon the valley of River Diarizos. There is free wireless Internet available in the hotel lobby. If you did not bring your laptop with you, we will be happy to rent you one at a minimal extra charge.

The Vasilias Nikoklis Inn was named after the King Nikoklis (Vasilias is the Greek word for king). Tradition says that King Nikoklis had his palace in the village of Nikoklia. The Inn has a long history since, in the old times, it was used as an inn, accommodating travellers and merchants going towards Paphos. At the end of the 80's, the owners, Tasos and Dora Konstantinou, renovated part of the building as a tavern. Starting with a small chamber and with great persistence and taste, despite the difficulties they met on the course, they expanded the tavern. They shaped the external spaces and built rooms with respect to the traditional architecture.

You can enjoy traditional Cypriot cuisine in the hotel's stone built tavern. By trying the side dishes, the nicely cooked starters, as well as a wealth of main dishes, you will discover one of the reasons that people from all the parts of the world choose to come back to this hotel. You can accompany your meal with local wine (red or white) or with zivania, which the hotel procures from a well known winery at the nearby village of Pretori. The bar is open from 07.30 - 23.00 each day. The restaurant is open for breakfast from 07.30 - 09.30, lunch from 12.00 - 15.00 and dinner from 19.00 - 21.00.
